Hey everyone! I hope you guys are all doing wonderful! I want to apologize that I haven't done a post in a long time. I've been busy with work & because of the holidays everything has been super hectic. I hope everyone had a great Christmas &&& a Happy New Year.

My new hair straightener : Misikko Hana Professional Flat Iron

A little bit about my hair. I use to dye my hair ALL the time because years back I use to work at a hair salon. With the hair colouring done and styling tools I use my hair is left really dry and dead. But I do take time to deep condition my hair and avoid using heat on my hair too much. Mind you my hair is naturally a bit wavy and the length is almost up to my waist. Time for a hair cut I know lol.

I had received my package from Misikko not too long ago which was sent to me for a review which included the Hana professional flat iron 1". I haven't had the time to try it out right away because I've been so busy. With the holidays, last minute shopping and what not I barely have time to do anything to my hair. However, a few days ago I woke up a bit early and managed to do my hair that morning. (Pictures below)

The one thing I noticed right away when I received was that they really put time and effort into packaging the products and making sure that everything was in place and carefully packaged. I also love that they included a bunch of other things which of course is always a bonus.

I have used a few hair straighteners in the past but I must say I am very impressed with this one. The speed on how fast this straighter heats up is pretty darn fast. I would say it takes about 2 minutes to heat up which is great, especially on days you're in a rush to get out of the house. The heating settings on this starts at 140 and goes up to 450.

One of my favourite things about this product is that I can actually straighten my hair in probably under 10 minutes which to me is amazing considering how long and thick my hair is. It cuts down more than half the time I normally would have to straighten my hair with other products I've used in the past. I find it fantastic that I don't have to go over the same part of hair that I just straighten.

Another great feature about this product is that is there a swivel cord which makes it easy to use because the cord doesn't get all tangled up.

I haven't even mentioned how great my hair feels after I'm done straightening it. The straightener itself with 'hana shine shield' definitely leaves my hair feeling silky smooth.

Last but not least I must mention how much I love the mat it comes with that I can put it on while I'm using it so I don't burn anything.

Overall: I have found my newest favourite hair straightener! It is definitely replacing my old one. Oh and I forgot to mention, this thing also gives me great curls!! I'll post a picture of me with curls using this iron in a future post.

I highly recommend this straightener for anyone who is looking to find a new one. I actually have found only really great reviews on this product. Definitely check it out :)

Mac warehouse sale & EOS

Here is a picture of the haul I did on Friday the first day of the Mac sale.

I must say I was able to control myself this time around :)

I don't have the prices for all the items but I managed

to spend less than $100. YAY me!

All I remember was the lippies were buy one get one.

And the charity packages

(which contained two duo eye shadows) were $5.

I found these EOS lippies at RW & co. I was super excited

to see that this came with the two flavours I wanted to try out.

Super duper excited when I saw revlon's lip butters at my local walmart.
Unfortunately they didn't have very many colours left but I did leave

So I've done a little shopping yet again!

Steve Madden 'troppa' boots!! I never really thought I could ever pull off a boot like this but since it's a big trend this season I thought I'd give it a shot :) I've seen so many people dress
up and dress down these type of boots so I'm excited to see what I can wear with it :D
(ps. if you're wondering where the other boot is? I'm stretching it out cause it's a bit snug)

YAY!!! DOUBLE YAY! for getting my hands on this palette! :) It is called the 'Danmari all about cheeks palette' I've never owned any Nars blushes so you guys can imagine how excited I was when this palette came out because not only did it have the famous 'orgasm' blush but it also came with a few others I could try out. It's limited edition and a bit on the pricer side but nonetheless I love it. It's just SO pretty :D

I dedicate this post to TOMS shoes :) I must say that I absolutely love these shoes!!
They are super duper comfortable, they come in different colours & different styles
& my number one reason why I love them so much is because of the cause behind
the make of the shoe itself. Basically with every pair that you purchase TOMS will
give a new pair of shoes to a child in need. HOW GREAT IS THAT?!

We got to go through some of their portfolios and such, it was pretty cool. At the end of it all this was the design my sister decided to get on hers. So pretty right. I totally regret not getting a pair for myself that day. Nonetheless it turned out great and every time she wears them out she gets compliments on them. Kodos to the artist who did the design)

Hello beauty world. Just wanted to share some pictures with you that I had taken at the CNE (canadian national exhibition). This happens every year near the end of August for about 2 weeks and a bit. It's quite similar to county fairs that happen in the states I believe. There's food, games, shopping, shows and so much more. I usually go more than once so don't be surprised if you seen another post like this :) I always look forward to going to the CNE, however it's a bitter sweet kinda deal. As much as I enjoy going every year, it also means that summer is coming to an end.

Nonetheless hope you all are doing well and now I leave you with some pictures :)

Hey everyone, since I haven't done this in a while here it is.
A list of things I've been enjoying for a few months now :)
Most of these items I've still been using.

- Nexxus pro-mend split end binding. Overnight treatment creme. I have some really bad split ends so this really does help 'mend' it together. It doesn't fix the split ends but it makes it less noticeable. I've also realized that the ends of my hair doesn't seem so dry and that there is less breakage as well.

- Annabelle zebra bronzing powder in 'haute gold.' I have been reaching for this product a lot these past few months along with a few other bronzing powders but I find that I reach for this the most. Since I don't wear that much makeup during the summer, this bronzer gives me the perfect glow using a very light hand.

- Secret fresh effects sensation in 'orange blossom verbena.' Not much to say about this product beside the fact that I love the smell and it keeps be fresh all day long :)

- Mac fix + travel size. I keep this is my bag all the time. Since the weather here in Toronto has it's really hot days, I like to have this to keep with me to refreshed throughout the day.

- Maybelline moisture extreme in 'nude blush.' Unfortunately I believe this product has been discontinued which kinda sucks. This colour doesn't seem to make me look as pale as my other nude lipsticks which is great. It is very moisturizing and it has SPF which is even better.

- NYX black label round lipstick in 'tea rose.' This is my go to lipstick. I never got the chance to try out any NYX products since it was hard to find here in Toronto at the time and is quite expensive compared to the states. However, I was lucky enough to have been sent a bunch of lipsticks to try from my ever so lovely Angelique. I'm trying not to use it up to fast lol. This lipstick is also her favourite and it is now my favourite as well. It is the perfect dusty pink rose colour. I wear this all year round. I love it.

- NYX mega shine lip gloss in 'beige.' This product again was also sent by Angelique, she sends out the best packages :) This colour isn't beige at all but it is a creamy medium pink. I put this lip gloss on top of almost all my pink lipsticks I wear. I'm also trying not to use this one up lol. This is definitely another product I love from NYX :) It never fails me.

- Clean and Clear persa-gel 5. I get the occasional pimple here and there and since the weather is always changing it Toronto my skins tends to react to it. I use this for those random pimples I get which reduces the size and basically dries it out.

- Vera Wang princess. I have the mini version which my sister actually gave to me. I love the cute packaging this one comes in. I honestly think this scent can be worn by anyone. A little goes a long way.

- EOS lip balm in 'sweet mint.' And I also love every other flavour I have it in. Thank to Angeligue once again! Love her. :) Not much to say about this product except that love the concept of it. I am constantly putting this on my lips. I have one in my purse, jacket and vanity. Let me tell you that I go through these bad boys like no tomorrow lol. I still have a few left from Ange, she definitely made sure I stocked up. I know that there are some people who don't like this lip balm but I love it. I know they have other flavours as well that I really want to try like 'lemon drop' which has SPF and one called 'strawberry sorbet and passion fruit' Hopefully I find them in the states next time I go :) 'I've seen sweetmint, summer fruit & honeysuckle' at some stores here in Toronto such as: RW&co & shoppers drug mart :)

- Kiehl's lip balm #1 in 'mango.' So I love mangoes. Mangoes everything! This lip balm is like Vaseline but better. It goes on so smoothly and it helps with my dry and chapped lips. What's even better is that is has SPF. I usually use before I put on lipstick or lip gloss, I let the product sink in a bit and then apply whatever lip product I'm using next. I love this stuff also and I carry it around with me all the time.

- L'oreal Voluminous Million lashes. I've heard so many things about this mascara so I wanted to give it a try. I love my falsies mascara but I wanted to try something else. I usually use water proof mascara but for some reason I couldn't find that version for this mascara, which btw I heard is better so I'll have to try that out. I curl my lashes before I use this and it seems to work well in holding my curl and giving be some volume. I don't know which one I like better though, falsies or this one. I guess I like them both lol.

- Shiseido eyelash curler. I've been using this for years now and it never seems to never fail me. It is by far the best curler I've ever used. It's a bit expensive since I was use to using just any curler from the drug store but I'm definitely glad I invested some money into buying this one. I love it and I'll probably continue to use this until I find something better. But this one is great!

- China Glaze nail polish in 'flip flop fantasy.' Just a really bright fun neon colour, perfect for the summer. It gives off a matte finish but I usually put a top coat to make it shiny when I wear it.

online window shopping: target & charlotte russe....&&& twitter!!

Target & Charlotte Russe are two websites that I find myself on a lot.
The reason being is because we don't have any of these stores here
in Canada (or not that I know of lol). I was just doing some window
shopping online & came across some stuff I wish I could get. Shipping
is pretty expensive if I were to purchase any of these online, that is why
I always almost try my best to stop by a Target & Charlotte Russe when
I'm in the states. However, I do wish I could run to the store & get these now lol

I've heard some great things about this concealer set.
I even checked to see if they had it at the target I went
to in Chicago, but just my luck they didn't.
Hope I can find a way to get it :)

I cannot seem to find this thing anywhere
and I REALLY want it. I guess I shall keep searching.

So, I actually saw this bag when I went to Target in Chicago,
I had it in my hand. Of course I got distracted by other things,
I put it down and when I came back for it, it was gone :(
I know I know, I should have never let it go. Lesson Learned.

Saw this bag on the website & I thought it was cute!
I don't usually lean towards floral print bags, but this
one is really nice.

I love flats & I really wish I had more! I actually don't own
that many. I saw that on the target website they had so many
cheap flats, including this one. $12 is not bad at all for flats :)

I don't have a blush pair of heels so I had to include this.
I wonder if they're comfy!.

Now onto Charlotte Russe. I love that this store has a mixture
of everything. Again, I don't have a top this colour so I really like this.

I definitely need a blazer like this one! Too bad I didn't see
this in the store when I went to the states.

So they had these boots in store but they didn't have my size :(
They are the perfect boots for the fall.

And because some of you know how much I love charm bracelets,
I had to include this as well. They didn't have this in store either
but I wish they did. $4, c'mon you can't go wrong with that.

I know this was a random post but I shall window
shop online till Target or Charlotte Russe comes to Canada
(specifically Toronto lol) which I 'heard' should be soon :)
Well Target at least. Everything is just so pretty.
I want it all, but maybe one day or i'll be sure to keep
a look out for these items if they still have them when I
go to the states. Hopefully soon *crosses fingers*

First Haul of the Year

First Post of the New Year.
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays
and Happy New year to everyone =)

finally got a new pair of glasses, my sister and I picked up
similar juicy glasses =)

There was a store at the mall near me that was
closing and everything was 50% off. I managed
to pick up this picture frame =)

I also picked up a kimmidoll.
I picked up the one in 'CHOYA' "belief"

I got 3 fortune tokens which I now keep in my wallet.

1st: "the secret of getting ahead is getting started"
2nd: "the first step to better times is to imagine it"
3rd: "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"

and last from that store I picked up two charms
that I put on my key chain =)

Went to the dollar store and picked up a few things.
Post its, Elf sharpener, notebook,
gum and nail polish remover.

I also went to Sephora and picked up
the 'purity cleanser' to try it out and the
'make up for ever aqua black.'

I stopped by sallys and picked up finger prints 'top coat'
and nail polish in ' pretty as a portrait'.
Also a sallys girl nail polish.

Reviewing: Coral Fleece Throw in Navy

My Opinion: Since it's winter, due to the colder days, it's nice to have something to wrap around in. It's soft, cozy and lightweight, which I love. This is something great to have at home, camping and even in the car. I think that it is a good price for the quality you get for this throw. What's great about this product is that it also comes with a velcro belt that you can wrap around the blanket for easy storage. The colour I choose was in "navy" because it matches my bedding. The size is just right because it wraps perfectly around me! I love this throw and I also think it would be the perfect gift to get almost anyone. I am more than satisfied with this product :) I'm thinking of getting another one but in a different colour.

So the holidays are just around the corner, meaning there are probably many people who will be traveling or going away for the holidays. Many of my family and friends are all packed and ready to go next week. I'm actually thinking of taking a mini vacation some time after the holidays. I've been searching around for the perfect luggage, one that is simple and durable. A website that I've been looking at lately is luggage stores. out some stuff online. I then came across this bed

I thought, WOW it seemed almost too perfect.

Went to Go For Tea with the bf + sister. My sister & I also had a meal to share but we only took pictures of our mango slush & milk custard brick toast? sooo yummy!!!

I got this nail polish @ forever 21 but I can't seen to find the colour name on the bottle. It's a pretty pink colour though :)

I bought an OPI nailpolish in "ate berries in the canaries" Really like this colour :)

& I got this essie "matte finisher"

anyways here are a few things I have accumulated over
the past few weeks...

lets start off with some hair products...
my hair has been super crazy lately
especially coz of this weather we're
having in Toronto...my hair has become
pretty damaged over the past few years
because of all the different colours my
hair has gone through lol & lately
it has gotten super dry...

I went to the mac warehouse sale last weekend & I suprisingly didn't do as much damage as last time, a lot of the stuff at this times sale was there last time...but anyways still had fun =) (sorry, the pictures flipping again when uploaded)

so it's Friday & i'm having honey garlic chicken
with ranch dipping sauce for dinner =) YUM!

last weekend we had bubble tea!

mango slush with apple jelly for the bf
& mango slush with mango jelly for myself!
sooo yummy!

for valentines the bf & myself
went out for wings...yes we love wings =D
i had the usual, honey garlic

we also had a platter which has a bunch
of different stuff...all very yummy!

my sister & her school have been fund-raising
for a trip & they were selling popcorn...of course
i had to get every flavour she had lol

my baby cousin's birthday was last week
& she taro flavoured cake =D

not to long ago i decided to stop by lush
& it just so happened they still had a few
of their christmas stuff so i managed to
pick up "fairy tail" body scrub & it smells
YUMMMY =) i also picked the nailpolish
in "metro chic" - OPI by sephora
(which i am loving), Korres lip butter in "jasmine"
(which i also love) & i also got a sample
of Nars - orgasam illuminator,
hope in a jar for dry sensitive skin
& HD microperfecting primer =)

as I was walking around at the mall
there was a lady standing outside of
"fruits & passion" & she gave me two samples
of their "eau de toilette" i think hehe

So as i mentioned in my previous post, i went to the
mac warehouse sale this past weekend. I went on friday
so the charity package was different from the ones
on saturday & sunday. I got in contact with someone who
went to the sale on saturday & she asked if we could swap.
we met up & did just that =) she was super nice & i believe
she may be doing a video of her haul soon, so i will ask
her if i could post that link on here. but anyways this

so it's been a while just though i'd update you guys :)

the oh so very popular circle lens which have been the talk
of the town for quite some time now...before i had purchased
my two pairs of circle lens, i was really worried that it
would look weird on me...which i must admit it took me a while
to get use to them...but i absolutely love that i gave them a chance...

the two pairs i bought were:
angel series (brown)
nudy series (grey)

these lens are love <3
i'm actually thinking of picking up another pair lol

so i was craving quiche one day & i decided
why not make some...not too bad i must say :)

hey guys its been a while so i decided to do a little post.. :)

so here is a picture of a nail design that i found on my camera
& never got the chance to upload...i saw lady lostris picture of her
half & half nails (which btw look like she got them done at the salon)

so as many of you guys know...it is breast cancer awareness month & i decided to do my own little tribute to the cause :)...

i know it's not the best ribbon...but i tried hehe :D

also, it was my 2nd year anniversary with the bf & as part of an anni gift...i got him green candy...which also happens to be his favourite colour & my favourite flavor...so trying not to eat all this candy was definitely a challenge :)

so lately i've been really into Revlon...spotted this blush
at my local drug store & decided to pick it up...
its a really soft peachy pink, very wearable for everyday...
i also picked up a lipgloss to match it, which is also a soft baby pink...

Revlon matte poweder blush: 003 perfectly peach
Revlon lipgloss: pink whisper

so i know i'm not a big fan of pink, but as ive mentioned before
when it comes to makeup, nailpolish & maybe a small part of my
shoes lol...those are ok for me to wear :)

i love this eyelash curler & i think i might like it
better than my shu uemura one :O lol

- mac beauty powder blush in "secret blush"
this blush gives me the right amount of colour
& right about of shimmer

- maybelline colorsensational l/s in "pink please"
my newest favourite drugstore l/s & colour, the picture
doesn't do the colour justice but it is just such a pretty
colour & i really like the texture of it :)

- palmer's cocoa butter in "dark chocolate & peppermint"
ive been wanting to try this for so long & i finally found it...
it definitely made it to my favourites

- clinique "high impact mascara"
ive been using this mascara since i was probably in highschool
& it has never failed me

- gosh duet e/s in "d 81 golden" & "chocolate"
my first gosh product & it didn't disappoint me...the texture
of this e/s is just so smooth & easy to blend

- mac tendertone in "take a hint"
great for summer especially since it has spf 12

- victoria secret in "romantic wish"
i bought this when i went to Vegas &&& i LOVE IT...
when i go to newyork & new jersey, i am definitely
picking up a few backups :)

- lush "tea tree water"
great toner & i also use it to freshen my skin during
the day

the color is just soo pretty, i love it :)
